Joomla is on its way to first stable release of Joomla 1.5. On September 1st, 2007, Joomla development team released Joomla 1.5 RC2, a serious candidate for Joomla 1.5 stable. Official news from the development team can be accesssed from this url .
Despite this good news, some third party developers may still feel uneasy about Joomla release schedule. It's already known that Joomla 1.5 milestone has undergone some delay and no exact date has been set up for each release. This is, to certain extent, bring some anxiety to developers who are interested in developing in Joomla 1.5. Anyway, for developers with profound experience in MVC application design, Joomla 1.5 brings more structured and thoroughly thought application. Documentation is also better than its predecessor although examples of real word scenario are still needed to work on so that developers can make their learning curve steeper and understand the API and its usages more easily.
